活动介绍

会议名称(英文):The 15th IEEE International Workshop on Signal Processing Advances in Wireless Communications

所属学科:信号与信息处理,通信技术
具体地点:加拿大 Toronto, ON, Canada
主办单位:IEEE Information Theory Society

The 15th IEEE International Symposium on Signal Processing Advances in Wireless Communications will be held in Toronto, Canada, from the 22nd to the 25th of June 2014. The venue, Hart House, which is on the campus of the University of Toronto and is pictured above, provides a an elegant backdrop for this engaging forum for exchanging ideas on the development of wireless communication systems. The workshop will consist of plenary talks, discussion panels, and engaging poster sessions, augmented by social events that will provide opportunities to exchange ideas and create networks in a less formal setting.

A special feature of SPAWC this year is that it will be co-located with the IEEE North American School of Information Theory, which will be held from 18-21 June 2014, also on the campus of the University of Toronto.

Prospective authors are invited to submit papers in the following areas:

· Smart antennas, MIMO systems, and space-time coding
· Single-carrier, multi-carrier, and multi-rate systems
· Multiple-access and broadcast channels, multi-user receivers
· Signal processing for ad-hoc, multi-hop, and sensor networks
· Cooperative communication, coordinated multipoint transmission and reception
· Distributed resource allocation and scheduling
· Interference management, dynamic spectrum management
· Heterogeneous networks, small cells
· Millimeter wave, 60GHz communications
· Physical layer security
· Feedback in wireless networks
· Cognitive radio and networks
· Cooperative sensing, compressed sensing, sparse signal processing
· Ultra-wideband radio, localization, RFID
· Modeling, estimation and equalization of wireless channels
· Acquisition, synchronization, and tracking
· Cross-layer issues, joint source-channel coding, delay-limited communication
· Signal processing for optical and satellite communications
